Tool List

Doing electrical work requires a large array of tools, both hand and power.

The “tool List” that you are required to have can vary from employer to employer with the “Non-Union” employers.

One of the many benefits of working for a union contractor is that the tool list is consistent from contractor to contractor and is limited to basic hand tools.

The contractor is responsible for any additional tools needed to perform the work. The following is the list of tools needed when working for a union contractor.

  • Voltage Tester (Wiggins Type)
  • Center punch
