We all know too well how expensive hand tools can be. Then think about how much more expensive testing equipment can be. A good multimeter can easily run in excess of one hundred dollars or more. Our Apprenticeship program struggles to provide our apprentices with enough adequate testing equipment because of the cost.
Well, as a result of a very kind gesture of one of our retired members, the committe can rest a little easier knowing that they have more of the proper tools for our instructors to teach our apprentices.
Jim Schneider, a twenty-year member graciously donanted his barely used Fluke multimeter/amprobe to the committe. In talking with Jim, he stated that he would like to donate the meter as he has a special place in his heart for our apprentices as well as our local.
Jim deserves a huge thanks from both the apprenticeship committee as well as our local for his generosity.
Thanks Jim.
